What is Interactive Feeding?

Unless you've been living under a rock or are new to pet ownership, you've probably heard the term "Interactive Feeding". But what does it mean?

Interactive Feeding is, quite simply, feeding your pet their meals in ways other than the conventional dog bowl; usually there is some activity or problem solving required by the dog; ultimately with the aim of enrichment.

Some of the benefits of interactive feeders include;

✔ Mental stimulation for your dog

✔ Mimics natural foraging behaviours

✔ Prolonged meal time is a great way to occupy alone time for your dog

✔ Encourages problem solving

✔ Gives an outlet for chewers when using chew friendly feeders

✔ Picky eaters may show more interest at meal time
